How quickly can you respond to my property?
We answer calls 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and a technician is typically at your door within 75 minutes.
Are you available at night, on weekends and on holidays?
Yes. Damage doesn’t keep business hours, and neither do we. We are on call 24/7/365, so you’ll always reach a team member if damage strikes.
Do you handle both mitigation and rebuild?
Yes. We can coordinate mitigation, cleanup, and reconstruction under one workflow, so you are not juggling multiple contractors through the process.
Do you work with insurance companies?
Yes. We work directly with major insurance carriers and provide documentation such as photos, scope notes, and drying logs to help keep claims organized.
Do you charge for an inspection or an estimate?
No to both. The inspection, where we come to your home and assess the damage, is free. The written estimate of what the work will cost is also free. You’ll know exactly what the job involves and what it should cost before any work begins, with no obligation and no upselling.
Do I have to use the company my insurance recommends?
No. You have the right to choose your own restoration company. Carriers can recommend a preferred vendor, but they can’t require one. We document to carrier standards and bill them directly either way.
How long does water damage restoration take?
Drying takes three to five days for most homes. Larger losses with reconstruction or contents work run longer. You will receive a timeline and the inspection and updates at every daily check.
Will you move and protect my belongings?
Yes. We move furniture out of affected areas, block or pad what stays and document the condition of your contents before work begins.
Do I need to be home while the equipment runs?
Not all day. We schedule a short daily visits to take readings and adjust equipment, and we work around your schedule.
What does fire damage restoration include?
Fire damage restoration typically includes debris removal, smoke and soot cleanup, odor removal, water extraction, drying, and repairs or reconstruction.
I just had water damage. Should I worry about mold?
If drying started within 24 to 48 hours, your risk is low. If water sat longer than that, or anything still smells musty after drying, get it checked. Mold prevention is one of the main reasons fast extraction matters.
Is the water in my home dangerous?
It can be. Even clean supply line water picks up contamination as it sits, and anything from a drain, sewer, or outside flooding is a health hazard. Keep kids and pets out of wet areas and let our crew assess the water category before you wade in.
Are you licensed, insured and certified?
Yes. American Restoration Water & Fire is fully licensed and insured. That means every job is done to recognized professional standards from start to finish.
What areas do you serve?
We serve all of New Mexico and West Texas, including Albuquerque, Rio Rancho, Corrales, Bernalillo, El Paso, Horizon City, Socorro, and Clint, among others. If you’re not sure whether you’re in our coverage area, contact us and we’ll let you know.
