At American Restoration, we believe in helping those in our community. One organization that is an asset to the community is Haven House. Haven House is an eight-bedroom shelter that provides temporary housing for thirty-two victims and their children and is the only domestic violence shelter for Sandoval County, which has a population of 137,608. They offer many specialized services such as 24/7 emergency shelter and case management, legal advocacy, in-shelter, and out-of-shelter support groups, individual counseling for victims and their children, life-skills classes, children’s program, and community education and training. This nonprofit organization provides necessary services that many have trouble finding. They go above and beyond for those around them.
The importance of the shelter should not go unrecognized. When we were notified that Haven House was in need of mold mitigation, the American Restoration team volunteered to do the work pro bono. An organization that does so much for the community deserves to receive a helping hand when needed. We are honored to be able to contribute to the work of such an important part of Sandoval County.
